Colour 2009 - Loving the Lord, losing the Beat

Every year Hillsong puts on a 2 Day women's conference called Colour and this year it was held at the Royal Albert Hall. The Royal Albert Hall is one of the UK's most treasured buildings and it is the home to more than 350 concerts and events every year. It was built in 1871 and was originally named the Central Hall for Arts & Sciences until Queen Victoria changed its name as a dedication to her deceased husband Albert (thank you Wikipedia!)

I only went to the Thursday night portion of the event but still had a great time. I went solo, hence the fact the picture of me is all face. The photo to the left was the stage & the photo to the right is the ceiling of the RAH. My favorite part of the event was the singing (who knew I would like Christian rock as much as I do?) because although Hillsong has a world renowned praise team their singers NEVER, EVER seem to be on beat as illustrated by the guy to the far left! It really puzzles me. Can't they hear the drums? At least they know how to put on a good party.

  1. The guy on the far left must have been listening to a completely different song.
