As most of my 10 or so followers know, I have been working since May and it has totally put a damper on my blogging, Spanish education and domestic duties. Actually I am so glad not to clean every day anymore! Anyway – I worked at a bar for 20 days (which made my grandparents really proud) then I got a job @ Shine Group Production company (www.shinegroup.tv) working in marketing and development (my grandparents were actually proud)! I forgot what working was like! So exhausting. There are two major differences between the LA work experience and the London one. The first is the floor plan of the offices.  They are so out in the open that there is no privacy. You sit RIGHTNEXT to your co-workers and boss which means everyone is working the full 8 hours a day! I mean, when do you have time to surf the internet? Or do your personal bills or shop online? There isn’t even IM.  It’s so weird. The other thing is that most companies pay you once a month. Meaning you really have to budget your funds or you quickly run out of money. Nigel, of course loves it, but I have to get used to it. At least one day a month I feel really wealthy!
